Sherlock Holmes was a detective who had unusual power of deducting and reasoning. His unusual power can be seen in his adventure in this story for example when he deduces that danger will come through a ventilator and down a bell rope can be a murdered case. He had a sidekick named Dr. Watson. Dr. Watson helps him in Holmes detective adventure. He is a brave man and is often able to help the detective in the moments of danger. For the beginning of the adventure is when a young woman came to their house and told them about her late sister who died in a her own room. They were told by the young woman that her sister died because of a whistling voice she heard at night. These two sisters came from rich family, but a long time ago their family house was broke a thief a stole many valuable things. Her father was saw mad and he beat his servant so hard until he died. Her father’s name Dr. Roylott , Dr. Roylott was send to prison for many years. Now he was a fireman who live with his daughters. As the woman told Holmes about her sister, Holmes and Dr. Watson investigate by going to her house. Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson had many clues and theory about the house. When he begin to understand, they watched the house for one night at the next building. Then the questions were answered the sound of whistle at night is actually the snake which came from the ventilator and down a bell rope trough her sister bed, when she was sleeping, she accidently hit the snake and the snake bite her. The snake will go back to Dr. Roylott’s room to drink milk in the small bowl in his room.
